African People's Solidarity Day 2009 - Take the Pledge
Beginning in October 2009, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement calls on individuals and organizations to Take the Pledge to Take a Stand Against U.S. Colonial Wars at Home and Abroad
- The U.S. attempts to solve the deep economic crisis through colonial wars from Afghanistan and Iraq to the streets of African communities throughout the U.S.
- Cities and municipalities across the U.S. spend billions of dollars of the peoples' resources on a war budget funding the policy of police containment, prisons and courts, spending nothing on economic development. This is a counterinsurgency war right here!
- We stand with the program of the Uhuru Movement, demanding all rights of a free people for self-determination and liberation. We reject an economy and jobs based on the oppression of African people! REPARATIONS NOW!
