Uhuru Solidarity Movement Training Conference: Reparations in Action!
Message from the Membership Chair
Uhuru!
This is such an incredible time to be alive and to be a member of Uhuru Solidarity Movement!
I first want to salute all the current and new members of USM for taking the right stand in solidarity with justice, liberation and reparations for African and oppressed peoples throughout the world!
We have chosen to jump off the pedestal of a society built on slavery, genocide, oppression and the destruction of the environment, and we are standing proudly with the forward motion of the movement led by the African People's Socialist Party, which has a vision and strategy for a future without slaves and slavemasters, poverty or injustice.
It's our responsibility and honor to tell our friends, family, coworkers and neighbors about this exciting movement that anyone can join!

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM) is an activist organization of allies of the Uhuru Movement, which works for the liberation of Africa and African people inside this country and around the world. USM works under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party.
Uhuru Solidarity Movement Points of Unity
USM membership is open to all allies of African people who agree with these points of unity:
Uhuru Solidarity Movement works under the leadership of the African People's Socialist Party, organizing other white people to political and economic solidarity with the right of African people inside this country and around the world to control over their lives, resources and destiny.
We uphold the right of all African and oppressed peoples to self-determination. We recognize that African people are colonized inside the U.S. just as they are in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and around the world.
We unite with the just call for reparations to African people for 500 years of enslavement and exploitation. We believe that Africa's resources belong to African people worldwide.
Fundraising as a people's movement for reparations to African people is the cornerstone of our activism.
Membership means:
- Paying an annual $25 membership fee (or $10 if you're a student)
- Having a membership card identifying yourself as a supporter of justice & reparations to African people
- Being invited to local, regional, and national conferences of Uhuru Solidarity Movement throughout the year
- The opportunity to do real reparations work under the leadership of the African-led Uhuru Movement -- from food booths to flea markets, marches & demonstrations to political action campaigns; you're a part of history!
