Message from Membership Chair Uhuru! ![]() This is such an incredible time to be alive and to be a member of Uhuru Solidarity Movement! I first want to salute all the current and new members of USM for taking the right stand in solidarity with justice, liberation and reparations for African and oppressed peoples throughout the world! We have chosen to jump off the pedestal of a society built on slavery, genocide, oppression and the destruction of the environment, and we are standing proudly with the forward motion of the movement led by the African People's Socialist Party, which has a vision and strategy for a future without slaves and slavemasters, poverty or injustice. It's our responsibility and honor to tell our friends, family, coworkers and neighbors about this exciting movement that anyone can join! May 15 kicked off our 2010 membership drive, which continues through June 30, and it is our opportunity to make membership in Uhuru Solidarity Movement something that everyone in our communities participates in! So go onto our website, UhuruSolidarity.org, print out the materials or get them from your local unit, and win others to stand on the right side of history, just like you chose to do when you first joined! And we'll see you at the 5th Congress of the APSP this July 10-14! Solidarity with One Africa One Nation! UHURU! "Would capitalism and the resultant European wealth and African impoverishment have occurred without the European attack on Africa, its division, African slavery and dispersal, colonialism and neocolonialism? The answer is No! No! No! and a thousand times, No!"
